Creature from the Black Lagoon: Get Outta My Swamp!

We’re going classic this week with Universal’s Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954). If you like black and white films,  1950's 3D,  groundbreaking underwater effects, and harpoon-wielding dudes in short shorts, you’re going to like this one. Eric brings the history of the monster movie format from Universal Horror, 3D, Milicent Patrick, and a musical (???) while Jaime questions everything she knows about this subgenre.  See what inspired Guillermo Del Toro to make Shape of Water, where a woman falls in love with a Gill Man! This deep sea Universal Monster horror movie is definitely worth a watch, it's one of the old school best horror movies around!
